  • Start by visiting https://my.nutanix.com.
  • Click on “Support” followed by “Support & Insights Portal.”

Step 2: Access Notification Preferences:

  • Look for the bell icon in the upper right corner, then click on “Set Preferences.”

Step 3: Customize Your Notification Preferences:

  • You will be given options to select the type of notifications you wish to receive. You can tailor how you receive updates through the Support Portal directly or via Email.
  • Choose your preferred notification delivery method:
    • Support Portal: Notifications will appear under the bell icon within the Support & Insights Portal.
    • Email: Opt to receive notifications via email based on your selected frequency.
  • Notification Frequency:
    • On Need Basis: Get notifications as soon as they are posted or updated on the Portal.
    • Scheduled Updates: Choose to receive notifications weekly, monthly, or yearly, compiling updates as they are posted.

My Recommendation: Here are the sections I think that will be the most useful:

Field and Security Advisories: Always recommended so that you can stay on top of all the latest issues or fixes.

Email Notification for Case: This should already be set to My Cases for all case types (P1, P2, P3, P4), but it doesn’t hurt to check. This is so you get emailed about the cases you open.

Product and Platform Management: Notifies you when a product is updated. Select all that apply to you, but the AOS, NCC, and Prism Central are always good options.

LCM: This will email you when your hardware vendor has new LCM Framework and Firmware bundles.

Product Information: End-of-life information for all Products and NX hardware.

Support Information: Get alerts for KBs that are updated or added
